We are seeking a creative Head Chef to run our award-winning kitchen which specialises in contemporary, seasonal and local Irish food. The ideal Head Chef must:
possess a passion for and knowledge of local, seasonal and foraged food and ingredients, and the ability to deliver food to an exceptional standard.
recognise superior quality products, presentations and flavours.
be driven and focused on first-class standards across every aspect of the operation.
have shown loyalty and longevity throughout their career.
have excellent knowledge of costing and budgeting.
be absolutely trustworthy, responsible, energetic, committed, enthusiastic and a strong communicator.
be flexible regarding scheduling including weekends, evenings and holidays.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Have successfully graduated with a professional culinary arts degree.
Management of Food Hygiene/HACCP - Level 5.
Minimum of 3/4 years working as a Sous Chef in a similar establishment.
Proven financial and staff management skills.
Highly organised, detail oriented; ability to work quickly and multi-task in busy environment.
Fluency in both written and spoken English.
